LAHORE: Inspector General of Punjab Police Rao Sardar Ali Khan on On Tuesday, the newly appointed Chinese Consul General in Lahore assured that a strong security system of all foreign citizens working in private as well as government sectors, especially Chinese people in all areas of the province was among the top priorities of Punjab Police.
He expressed this opinion during the meeting. with China’s newly appointed Consul General Zhao Shiren at the Central Police Headquarters is here. Questions during the meeting of mutual interest, including security measures of Chinese citizens, experts, investors, job sites and mutual cooperation were discussed.
He said security measures had been taken. on in arrival of Chinese citizens on information Desk of Special Security Detachment at Airports and Implementation of SOPs issued by the Ministry of the Interior for security of Chinese citizens were strictly guarded.
Rao Sardar Ali Khan said the safe environment provided to all foreign citizens arriving for investments throughout the province and reliable security have been also provided to offices, workplaces, as well as to residential buildings.
IG Punjab stated that the special protection unit diligently wore out security responsibilities of Chinese citizens during installation up round-the-clock centralized monitoring system control security measures.
Chinese Consul General Zhao Shiren praised performance of Punjab Special Protection Unit and Police for protection of Chinese people and said that bilateral cooperation should to be made more effective for capacity building of Punjab Police and personnel and provision of technical assistance.
