Game Conference MX Positions Guadalajara as Latin America’s B2B Gaming Hub

Game Conference MX (GCMX) has finalized its 2026 schedule, positioning the event as a primary business-to-business (B2B) bridge for the Latin American gaming industry. The conference is set to take place on November 13–14, 2026, at the Salón Fiesta Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Mexico. This confirmation resolves earlier scheduling uncertainties, as the event was previously listed for an October window at a different venue.

The move to a larger venue and the updated November dates reflect the conference’s growth following its 2025 debut. While some early industry calendars still reference October 9–10 at the First Complex Creative, Game Conference MX has officially transitioned to the November dates at Salón Fiesta Guadalajara to accommodate its expanding footprint. Guadalajara, often cited as Mexico’s “Silicon Valley,” provides a strategic backdrop for this gathering, which aims to connect regional developers with international publishers and investors.

Scaling from the 2025 Foundation

The 2026 edition builds on the momentum of GCMX 2025, which saw participation from 10 countries and developers representing 22 Mexican states. By providing a centralized venue for these diverse stakeholders, the conference facilitates high-level networking that is often difficult to access for independent studios in Latin America. The 2025 lineup established a high bar for content, featuring industry veterans such as Jason Della Rocca of Execution Labs and Ricardo Sisnett, formerly of Riot Games.

A core component of the GCMX ecosystem is the “Indie Spot,” a dedicated exhibition area designed for independent developers to showcase their projects directly to peers and potential partners. This exhibition space operates alongside a more traditional B2B track, creating a dual-layered environment where technical talent meets commercial opportunity. The goal of this structure is to move beyond a local showcase and establish Guadalajara as a definitive hub for the broader LATAM game development community.

As the industry looks toward the November 2026 dates, the focus remains on professionalizing the regional pipeline. The shift in venue to Salón Fiesta Guadalajara indicates an intent to scale both the exhibition and the networking capacity of the event. For developers in the region, the conference serves as a critical touchpoint for securing international interest without the need for extensive travel to North American or European summits.
