LAHORE: Punjab government Ataullah Tarar’s spokesman released the alleged audio recording on Sunday of conversation between property tycoon Malik Riaz and his daughter Amber Riaz in that the two could be heard discussing how in former first Lady Bushra Bibi refused to accept a three-carat diamond ring from them.
The audio was introduced by Tarar and PML-N Information Secretary Azma Buhari during a press conference. in Lahore today.
In the alleged audio, Amber was heard telling her father — who maintains a close relationship with all Pakistani politicians – what she sent then -first lady a three-carat diamond ring that she refused to accept.
Without mentioning the name of Farah Goga. in audio, Amber said she had a meeting with “she” (Farah) on Saturday, therefore, a five-carat diamond ring should be organized for before that Bushra Bibi adding that ring cost 10 million rupees.
Amber further told her father that she (Fara) told her that it was “not big to deal with for in first lady to have a three carat ring, hence it was “indecent of so they can send her something that everyone can own.”
Hearing this, Malik Riaz said his daughter “to get the ring they ( first lady and Gogi) are demanding.”
During the call, Amber could also be heard telling her father that “the locked doors to his sites will be opened next morning,” adding that “she” (Farah) assured her that she had received call from Imran Khan.
“She (Fara) told me she got a phone call from Khan Sahab and said that he would take guarantee for closing of in [cases] for what reports were presented to him. You can also get a letter from Shahzad Akbar tomorrow,” Amber could be heard telling her. father.
