With this, the streaming platform tries to counter bots that intimidating and send hateful messages in chats of mostly LGBTQ streamers and black streamers.Twitch complains to two users, ‘Cruzzcontrol’ and ‘CreatineOverdose’, which would be located in the Netherlands and Vienna, Austria respectively. Cruzzcontrol is said to be in control of about 3000 bots and CreatineOverdose is said to have demonstrated how the use of bots for hate raids works. Both channels have been banned, but keep popping up under different names.Earlier this month, streamers called on Twitch to take action against hate raids. On September 1, many major content creators were therefore absent from the platform.
