The announcement that Dead Island 2 would be released in just a few days has piqued my interest to a great extent. Both the first iteration of Dead Island, which came out in 2011 and the sequel, Dead Island: Riptide, were tremendously enjoyable experiences for me. Even the cel-shaded spin-off game, Escape Dead Island, was fun to play for me.
It has been far too long since we heard anything about Dead Island 2, especially considering it was announced ten years ago.

Recently, I had the opportunity to play Dead Island 2, and I was blown away by what I saw and did. It is undoubtedly Dead Island in every conceivable way, but the updates take it to an entirely new level. FLESH’s battle mechanism is mind-blowing and extremely brutal, but the presentation is excellent. Fans are entertained for extended periods by a superb combination of terror and humor.
