T-Mobile sponsor of Call of Duty tournament sites disappeared

T-Mobile, one of the main sponsors of the Call of Duty League and Overwatch League, has disappeared from the websites of these tournaments.
All mentions of T-Mobile appear from the websites from Call of Duty League and Overwatch League. Also, the sponsor’s logo has been erased from the clothing of players in the tournaments, as can be seen in the pictures below.

While no official statement has been released yet, there is speculation that T-Mobile has withdrawn from sponsorship – or at least no longer wishes to be listed – due to the recent controversy surrounding Activision Blizzard.

Just two weeks ago, the state of California sued Activision Blizzard for discrimination and sexual harassment, based on two years of investigation. Within the company, discrimination is alleged to take place in various ways, including promotions and salary, especially among women. They would also be sexually harassed in the workplace.

Since then, the company has been involved in various ways – including through a statement from CEO Bobby Kotick – responded to the allegations. In response, the employees posted an open letter stating that these statements are not conclusive.
