“Tamara” was considered a highly complex evil character, but she left a distinctive mark during the first and second premieres of the series in a season that is considered the most difficult for drama in terms of how much competition, and how the actor can announce his presence strongly.
(In an exclusive interview with Al Arabiya.net, Jamila Awad revealed the details of Tamara’s character and the scenes she went through at the time of filming, as well as the films “The Court” and “My Bride” in addition to the roles that she attracts and wants to present during the coming period.)
*Among the roles you played during the last period It is clear that you are eager to search for new things in what you offer? I am interested in thinking and always searching for new and different topics, focusing on the content that lives with the audience, not just for existence or whoIn order to appear on social networking sites, work and personality must have a goal or purpose. I focus in choosing my roles on the value of the topic and the value of the character, and how to be influential and inspiring to others, and to touch something in their hearts or lives, and when all these elements are available I am excited about the role, I am experimenting, so I always need time to read and accept any role that is offered to me, because it must offer something different to the viewer and not be repetitive.
Indeed, Tamara is an important character who struggles with good and evil inside her. She did not find love in her life and always feels lost, as those around her seem to judge her and no one knows what is inside her of suffering, and it appears This is in the hospital scene with Maryam, embodied by the great artist Yousra. I loved the character “Tamara” because her feelings are sincere in evil and good as well, and very deep, but there was difficulty in striking a balance between all the emotions that the character contains, as she mentioned very deep, with her Evil, pain and extremely humane situations.

*With mentioning the difficulty.. What are the most difficult scenes for you in this work?
In fact, there are many influential and difficult scenes at work, and I understood this from the audience’s reactions, for example, the Christmas scene with the beautiful actress Yousra, the hospital scene, and the scene The confrontation with the mother and Nour, and the scene of the father’s death, as “Tamara” felt that with his death she had lost the true and only love, and the character itself had conflicting feelings, which required me to focus very psychologically during the filming process in order to be honest in front of the audience.
What attracted you to the role? Is it working with Yousra or the character? 
Working with the artist Yousra was One of the most important things that attracted me to participate in a “civil war”, I was very excited to work with her. Unfortunately, he offered me an opportunity to work with her before, but because of the time and my preoccupation with filming other works, I did not succeed in meeting her, but God always gives us the best and in the right time, As for “Tamara”, I was very worried about this character, because she is an evil character and the audience may hate her, and she may make the artist not act again if she presents her badly.
*How did you prepare for the character? Have you contacted a psychiatrist or psychologist?
I did not seek the assistance of any Specialized, but I focused on the details and on the nature of the character, the environment in which he was raised, and the factors that led him to have all these contradictory feelings, especially since the small details that are collected from each person I met may be the reason for forming the character that appears on the screen, In addition to the written text, I have met characters similar to “Tamara” in my life, and I was harmed by her, and I preferred to stay away from her because it is the risk of continuing knowledge with these characters, and I think that although I finished filming and presented the work twice, but I became worried about the presence of cameras anywhere I am in it after my experience with the character “Tamara”, because I discovered how much evil exists in human souls because the character “Tamara” was filming her friends without knowing and blackmailing them with these videos.
*Tell us about the scenes of working with Yousra..
One of the most beautiful personalities that you can meet or deal with, she is beautiful in spirit and very friendly, a sensitive and giving artist, and I was happy to work with her because she likes to All the work team appears in a wonderful picture, and I imagine that this clearly appeared to the audience through the series, and I learned a lot from her, because whoever works with her learns from her all the time, and most things can be learned without noticing it, for example, reactions in situations and pressures. Which circumstances put us in, and when to respond, when to be silent, and how to respond, according to each situation, so I learned a lot from it, as it is a stand-alone school, especially since we had a space of time behind the camera to sit together, and get closer to each other.
What about the new? Will it be in drama or cinema?
Upcoming works gotta be cinematic Two works during the coming period, which I finished filming, the first is the movie “The Court”, written by Ahmed Abdullah, directed by Mohamed Amin, produced by Ahmed Al-Sabki, and it is similar to the films “Cabaret” and “Al Farah” in terms of the number of participating stars, and each of them has a special problem and these intertwine The cases are together, the whole issue revolves within a court and in different dramatic lines for all actors and each actor has a different case, and I cannot talk about my character in the film, but I promise you that it is a new and different character that has not been presented by an actor in the Arab world until now, like the series “Except I” My presentation is the character of a girl who is sick with Vitiligo, and it was the first experience in artistic works that dealt with this phenomenon. The second work?
The second work is the movie “My Bride” starring Ahmed Hatem, Sabreen, Mahmoud Al-Bazzawi, Zainab Gharib, and Marwan Younes, written by Mustafa Al-Barbari, directed by Muhammad Bakir, and I filmed it after “Except I”, and it is a romantic light movie, not complicated or complex at all, full of joy and hello It is very tasty.
What about presenting a second part of the movie “Hepta”?
