Against the backdrop of ongoing clashes between the Sudanese army, led by Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, and the Rapid Support Forces, led by Mohammed Hamdan Dagalo, nicknamed Hamidti, for the third week in a row, and the exchange of accusations between the two sides of numerous violations, a former member of the Council on sovereignty brought a new charge against the forces of Hamidti.
Salah Abdel-Khalek accused the RSF of storming his house in order to arrest him. In statements to Al-Arabiya/Al-Hadath today, Wednesday, he said they were “living in my house and have taken away my identity papers.”

The first pilot, a lieutenant general, also added that the Rapid Support Forces broke into his house yesterday to arrest him, but he was away from home with his family.
In addition, he indicated that the RSF had arrested all retired army officers residing in Square 1 in the Kafuri area.
Operational Support Forces are deployed at several locations in Khartoum, especially near the Presidential Palace and the General Command, as well as in Omdurman and Kauri.
Since the outbreak of hostilities between the two main armed forces in the country on April 15, the capital in particular has been living in a state of security chaos, amid widespread looting and looting that has affected shops and warehouses, as well as banks and even hospitals.
Thefts also affected the homes of civilians and members of the Sovereignty Council.
While the army and a number of citizens pointed the finger at the Rapid Support Forces, the latter repeatedly denied that their members had fled, accusing what they called the “al-Burhan coups” of trying to discredit them.
