Through a Buddy Pass system, a second and third player play along with Rainbow Six Extraction for free for a limited time.
Ubisoft announced that. Each edition of Extraction includes two Buddy Pass tokens, which allow players to invite two friends to play for free for up to 14 days. All progression earned in those two weeks can be taken with you when you buy the game yourself.
As previously announced, Extraction will be released on January 20, 2022. Ubisoft announced today that the game will cost $39.99 on PC and $49.99 on consoles. The Deluxe Edition, which includes three bonus packs for in-game use, costs 10 euros more on all platforms. In addition, anyone who plays both Rainbow Six Siege and Extraction will receive the United Front bundle, which includes four exclusive gear sets.
Finally, Ubisoft has announced that a significant portion of the DLC will be released after the launch of Extraction becomes free. This includes Maelstrom Protocol, a mode with weekly challenges for the top Rainbow Six players.
Rainbow Six Extraction is a co-op shooter where players fight together against alien parasites in different modes. In doing so, they choose an Operator from Rainbow Six Siege with specific skills and equipment and then look for the next objective. Extraction will be released for Playstation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, Stadia, and PC. The game supports cross-play, cross-saves and cross-progression between all platforms.
