LAHORE: Punjab Assembly Speaker Sibtein Khan holds important meeting with Pakistani Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and give briefing on a movement of distrust, reports ARY News on Wednesday.
Sources told ARY News that PA speaker Sibtein Khan met Imran Khan at his residence Zaman Park in Lahore. He informed the Khan on petition for no confidence and other issues.
The head of the PTI was also instructed on in decisions of parliamentary party. PA speaker briefed Imran Khan on number of PTI Legislators in provincial assembly.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Lahore High Court (LHC) suspended the notice. of Punjab Governor Balig-ur-Rehman, having received assurances from Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi through affidavit on December 23 that he won’t dissolve provincial assembly.
CM Pervez Elahi and his cabinet will restored until January 11 by order of the LHC.
This was previously stated by Vice President of PTI Fawad Chaudhry. CM Pervez Elahi will receive vote of confidence until January 11 and the report will be submitted to the court. He also announced to dissolve Punjab Assembly at any cost.
