Officials and public office holders of the sentence government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has paid a great deal amount for gifts in terms of value subsidized by Toshakhana in the tax year 2018-2019, reported by Geo News on Wednesday.
The government deposited officers over 34 million rupees in the government treasure to keep gifts in the years 2018 to 2019, the largest retention in the entire period.
In the tax department year 2019-2020, the government the treasury received 6.4 million rupees as withholding cost of 25 gifts registered by officials.
However, the federal government has declined to release information from gifts presented to Prime Minister Imran Khan by foreign leaders of state, arguing that this would put that of the country at risk national interests and relationships with bordering countries.
