LAHORE: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Politic Communication Dr. Shahbaz Gill on Wednesday said the opposition is set to face more challenges as more looted public money is unearthed from government institutions in near future.
Speaking with the media during Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit to Lahore, he said they have 550 billion rupees already been recovered, adding that the recovered money would be used to provide more structures to the masses.
Gill, in masked sarcasm towards the leadership of the PML-N, said that the leadership of the PML-N is to be thanked for making employees poor billionaires, adding that Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz attracted billions of rupees from bank accounts of a peon, to recycle money.
“Medals should be assigned to PML-N leaders for changing the situation of common peons
through their corrupt practices, ”he said, adding the bad luck money was transferred to the bank you count without knowledge of account holders.
The SAPM said the opposition leaders are united in defense of their corruption and travel in long and in wide of the country to save himself.
He said the leaders of the PPP and PML-N are the enemies of the past but today they have become friends to defend themselves.
Gill said PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz is silent as her cousin and uncle are indicted and fear of the prosecution brought together all the opposition leaders.
He admitted that the government must raise prices of petroleum products as per
fashion in the international market expressing the hope that oil prices would decrease in a few months.
