On Xbox they believed that Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 and more Nintendo games would be released in 2020
The legal dispute between Epic and Apple is getting more and more interesting mainly in the wake of the leaks that are emerging from it. Now we get an undoubtedly very important one that is again related in a certain way with Nintendo.
The information comes from the business manager of Xbox , Lori Wright, who has testified in Apple’s ongoing court case against Epic with a series of statements that can now be seen in a document available on the court’s website with very old and outdated information on various topics. Among them, we find the competitor games that Microsoft thought would be released in 2020.
In this way, in one of the slides, we can see that in the section of exclusive high-profile games of the competition appear The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, Bayonetta 3 and Metroid Prime 4 as games that the company believed would be released by Nintendo in the 2019-2020 period. They also list Pikmin 3 Deluxe, Shin Megami Tensei V, New Pokémon Snap and No More Heroes 3 for that period.
This is what they thought from Xbox in August 2020 . Obviously those games were not released last year, since we are at 2021 and we do not have a date yet for any of them. However, it is unknown based on what they thought that from Xbox and it is believed that they could have information that for now has not been made public in relation to these releases.
Finally, it should also be noted that Wright has pointed out that PlayStation is Microsoft’s main competitor in the console market, and adds that Nintendo is too, but “to a lesser degree.” What do you think about it?
