PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Rescue1122 responded to more over 285,000 emergencies across the province in in year 2022 and delivered 236,440 patients and injured to hospitals.
in year performance a report published by Rescue1122 CEO, Dr. Khatir Ahmad here on Saturday by Ambulance referral, a total of 74,000 patients were transferred from hospitals to other facilities on recommendation of concerned authorities.
likewise 4421 people lost their lives in various emergencies during the same period, while 27,132 injured were treated first- aids on place.
He said that the average response time of the rescue teams was less than seven minutes, adding that during last year total of 166,590 cases of medical, 5685 cases of fire eruption, 3591 cases of small nature of crimes, 772 of drowning cases, 334 cases of roof collapse, explosion of 161 gas cylinders and 8227 coffins of Other emergencies have been reported.
Dr Khatir said that KP Rescue1122 serves people throughout the province and always ready to take on all kinds of of emergencies.
KPHCC CHECKED 710 INSTALLATIONS, PAYED FOR 126 ILLEGAL CLINICS IN DECEMBER
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Commission (KPHCC) sealed off 126 health facilities within a month. of December over inaccessibility of registered practitioners and using poor quality items.
In a statement posted here on Saturday, during acceleration against charlatan doctors, teams of KPHCC inspected total of 710 clinics in 16 different districts in province, including Pesahwar, Charsadda, Nowshera, Mardan, Swabi, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Haripur, Swat, Malakand, Deer Lower, Kohat, Bannu, Karak and DIKKHAN.
teams also served show cause notifications to 154 healthcare institutions for registration of their clinics with CHRC.
In addition, KPHCC organized training sessions. on Minimum Standards of Service Delivery (MSD) at the Graduate Medical Institute (PGMI), where total of 22 doctors, paramedics, pharmacists and allied health workers have been trained.
