LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday fixed for listening to imran khan plea against election Committee of Pakistan (ECP) lawsuit to remove him from office party chairman after his disqualification in link to Toshahan.

five people bench of Lahore High Court (IHC) led by Judge Shahd Bilal Hassan to hear petitions of Imran Khan on May 19.
The petition pleaded with court to announce ECP removal proceedings of Imran Khan as party head “zero and void”.
Previously, the Lahore High Court (LHC) stopped the election commission of Pakistan (ECP) from removal of Imran Khan as chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) after his disqualification in link to Toshahan.

It is appropriate to note here that in written decision, the CJP said: “According to the statement of Khan he bought gifts from Toshahana, paying 21.564 million rupees, while the Cabinet Branch stated that gifts mattered of 107.943 million
Meanwhile, Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday extended an order forbidding the authorities to arrest former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan in cases – including unsolved cases – have been reported across the country through May 31.
Imran’s lawyer, barrister Gohar, additional attorney general And advocate general appeared before the court.
During the course of proceedings, t. government lawyer requested more time from court to grant information about the cases against PTI chairman.
The court granted the motion and adjourned the hearing until May 31.
