PlayStation architect expands his PS5 with SSD from Western Digital

Mark Cerny, the architect of the PlayStation 5, has announced on social media that the Western Digital Black SN850 is an external SSD for the console.

He does that on Twitter. Last week it appeared that beta users of the console could expand their storage capacity with an external SSD after a long wait. This is possible with SSDs from two brands: Western Digital and Seagate. A cooling element is also a requirement.

Konami calls eFootball launch version “more or less a demo”

First Battlefield Beta 2042 starts on August 12

Deathloop development completed

That was announced yesterday via the game’s official Twitter account. The game was first supposed to hit the PlayStation 5 launch last year, then was delayed to May 2021 and is now finally released on September 14.

Deathloop is developed by Arkane Studios, the developer of games like Dishonored and Prey. The studio is part of Bethesda and therefore ZeniMax, which will soon be acquired by Microsoft. However, the game will be a PlayStation 5 exclusive for at least a year on consoles, as that deal has already been closed before the acquisition.
