Khabarovsk, May 18 – The fifth highest fire hazard was established in the Amur region of the Khabarovsk Territory due to hot weather and lack of rain, reports the regional head office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Since April 15, due to the difficult situation of fire danger, emergency mode has been introduced in the area. It provides for a complete ban on visiting the forests by citizens, as well as moving through the forest by transport. For violation of fire safety rules for individuals – an administrative fine of up to 40 thousand rubles, for legal entities – up to 2 million rubles.
At the same time, a special fire system continues to operate throughout the district. On the territory of the district it is forbidden to make fires, use open flames, burn garbage and dry vegetation, etc.
According to the Ministry of Forestry of the Khabarovsk Territory, three fires have been extinguished in the region on an area of ​​91 hectares. Outbreaks are located in the Solnechny, Sovetsko-Gavansky districts and the Polina Osipenko district. According to the Minister of Forestry and Wood Processing of the region Maxim Gulko, in addition to 39 pieces of equipment, five aircraft are involved in the firefighting: two C-182s and one Mi-8 helicopter. The fires are expected to be extinguished within one day.
