OMAHA, Nebraska (AP) – strong winds made it is difficult for firefighters to extinguish a fire Sunday at senior residential apartment building in developing in southwest Omaha.
Omaha Fire Chief Scott Fitzpatrick said 88 firefighters were on high ground at Ovation Senior Living near 144th and Pacific Streets of reaction to the fourth alarm fire it was reported shortly before 1:30 am on Sunday. By 11:30 a.m., the fire had been contained.
