Italian Prime Minister George Meloni said Paris and Rome agreed on the need for the European Union to work “practically and seriously” to help Tunisia, a country that has witnessed a massive exodus of migrants to Europe in recent months.

Tunisia’s Credit Rating Downgraded

Earlier in June, Fitch Ratings downgraded Tunisia’s credit rating to ‘CCC-‘ from ‘CCC+’, citing uncertainty about the country’s ability to raise enough funds to meet its financial needs.
