Moscow, May 4 – Bulgaria revoked the citizenship of 18 people, including four Russians, after the country’s parliament voted in late March to revoke “golden passports,” according to Sophia Globe.
It had previously been noted that within six months after the amendments to “golden passports” became law, the NSA would examine whether there were grounds to deny anyone the citizenship of those they had acquired under the canceled scheme.
“Among those deprived of their nationality, four are from Egypt, four from Russia, four from Kazakhstan, three from China, two from Pakistan and one from Jordan,” the post said.
