Disinformation, Propaganda Threat to State Integrity: COAS General Bajwa

This is stated in the statement of the Interagency Public Relations Service (ISPR). of General of the Army Staff (COAS) Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the Lahore garrison over weekend, where he was received by the commander of the Lahore Corps, Lieutenant General Muhammad Abdul Aziz.

“Disinformation and propaganda threaten the integrity of the state, requiring a timely and unified response to effectively counter speculation and rumors,” the army commander said.

General Bajwa said that the strength of the army comes from people and “any attempt to drive a wedge between the army and population won’t be tolerated.”

“The hostile forces are trying to for long but they won’t succeed,” the army commander said in a statement.
