PESHAWAR: Like other parts of country, Pakistan celebrated its Diamond Jubilee with traditional zeal and zeal for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday.
Memorial ceremonies were held in provincial capital and district headquarters in connection with 75th Independence Day of country.

In a statement, the Acting Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani, said that independence gift of God and nation should respect it. Speech at the Independence Day Ceremony, Chief Justice of Peshawar Supreme Court Judge Qaiser Rashid Khan extended congratulations to the legal fraternity and to all the people.
