federal judge in Georgia denied Senator Lindsey Graham’s attempt to delay his testimony before Fulton County. grand jury in their investigation former President Trump’s attempts to cancel the election in state.
“Under the circumstances, further delay of Senator Graham’s testimony will greatly aggravate the overall delay. in carrier out in grand jury investigation. Thus, further delay is a significant risk of common obstacle to grand jury investigation, and the Court therefore considers that granting stay is almost certain result in material injury to grand court and its investigation. Graham currently scheduled to testify on Tuesday, but there is another motion to stay. He asked the judge to cancel the subpoena demanding his appearance.
Graham was subpoenaed last month as part of Fulton County District Attorney criminal investigate Trump’s attempts to cancel elections in Georgia results.
