A 59-year-old man was arrested after sexually assaulting a woman. in park, while ordering Taxi.
The incident happened in Preston Park around 4am on Friday, August 19, when she tried to call a taxi near the intersection. of Preston Park Avenue.
A man approached a woman who grabbed her and raped her before escaping.
The police say they are supported by specially trained officers.
The man was interrogated and released. on on bail until September 14 while investigations continue.
Detective Inspector Laura Hillier-Diamond said: “It was a nasty attack and the victim is very upset.
“We are addressing for witnesses of the accident will come forward, especially motorists traveling on the A23 Preston Road around this time. who there may be footage from the DVR that may help our investigation.
