A 6-year- the old lady is recovering in Hospital after being caught in crossfire of Monday night shootout near East Phillips Park in Minneapolis.
Officers from the Minneapolis Police Department and the Minneapolis Park Police responded to the report. of shots were fired at around 17:16 near the intersection of 18th Avenue South and 24th Street East, MPD spokesman Garret Parten said.
A 6-year- the old victim was found shot, and the officers and doctors gave her first help before taking her to Hennepin County Medical Center. According to Parten, her injuries do not pose a threat to life.
Investigators say two men were shooting at each other across 24th street and the girl was hit while driving past on her bike.
No other injuries were reported, and at least one vehicle was hit.
Police say there were no arrests made.
