Advisor to the head of the office of Volodymyr Zelensky, Mikhail Podolyak, in a statement instructed officials not to publish the operation and the results of the work of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the fighting.
In his post, Podolyak pointed out that regional military commissariat officials, mayors and activists should not publish pictures of missile positions, explosions, as well as pictures of the work of air defense forces and defense systems.
He pointed out that the publication of such information, which poses a threat to the national security and defense of the country, is considered “criminal negligence” and is punishable.
In addition, Ukrainian parliamentarian Maxim Buzansky said that the legal committee of the Ukrainian parliament would consider punishing such activities.
Earlier, the Ukrainian authorities called on citizens of the country not to post photos and videos on the Internet showing the work and results of the air defense, as this could reveal their location.
