Woodhead Pass is closed tonight (Friday) after a truck dumped cargo. Photos from the scene show dozens of what appear to be large sheets of the tree is scattered along the road, sidewalk and field on outskirts of Glossop.

Derbyshire Police said: “Motorists are advised avoid Woodhead Pass A628 in Glossop after the truck dropped the load on eastern roadway. Traffic currently support up in in area because the road is full of rubbish.
