Lioness ‘dies instantly’ after being killed by another lion at safari park in Wiltshire.

But the cars were banned from entering. one area on New Year, due ‘unknown major incident.”
Longleat Safari Park has since confirmed that this was due to death of lioness.
A rep said, “This weekend (January 1, 2023) one of the lionesses at Longleat are unfortunately killed by another lion.
‘This kind of the incident is very rare, but, of course, it can occur among the top predators.
“It happened incredibly fast, with lioness dying almost instantly.
“Our professional goalkeepers were immediately on scene, however the timing meant that there was no way of intervention.
‘Did not have risk guests.
New Year’s Eve one guest wrote on social media that they could not see the lioness moving on Earth.
