At the moment there are not many details about Pokémon Legends: Arceus , the first open-world installment in the long-lived Pokémon franchise. The only thing we know for sure is that we will travel to the Sinnoh region , the scene of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Pokémon . But the story takes place in a bygone era , before concepts like “Pokémon Trainer” or “Pokémon League” existed.

Around us we will find wild Pokémon that inhabit hostile environments and make Sinnoh a very different region from the one we may already know after having played Diamond Pokémon and Pearl Pokémon. To catch Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, we can observe their behavior, approach them with stealth and then throw a Poké Ball . We can also have our allied Pokémon help us get our hands on wild Pokémon.

As all fans know, most games of Pokémon have some antagonistic team that players can fight and in the fourth generation it was the Team Galaxia (Team Galactic in Latin America), Sinnoh’s villainous team and is possibly the most evil team in the Pokémon franchise. This is because they want to destroy the world and alter the entire universe to remake it in their image and likeness. The leader of Team Galaxia is Helio (known as Cyrus in Latin America and in English), a man who basically wants to destroy the space-time continuum for their own purposes of reshaping the universe.

Well, one of the biggest unknowns for many fans is if we will see Team Galaxy in Pokémon Legends: Arceus or if it will be a completely new team , but at the moment it is totally unknown. However, from Screenrant they have shared some interesting ideas that we expose you below:

• At the moment it seems quite unlikely that Team Galaxy will appear in Pokémon Legends: Arceus , since the game is set in Sinnoh’s past. It may all depend on how the Pokémon story changes when the new game arrives.
• However, it is not ruled out either since they could travel in time . This is especially plausible considering the team’s motivations (and Helio’s control over Dialga, depending on the version of Sinnoh games played).
• Pokémon Legends: Arceus will launch in January, just two months after the remakes of Diamond and Pearl, so it is possible that the two games are connected for more than just the region.
• Perhaps their stories intersect in interesting ways. And even if the evil time-traveling organizations did not appear, players could still encounter the ancestors of Helio or some precursor of Team Galaxy .

Pokémon Legends: Arceus will be launched in physical and digital format, through the Nintendo Switch eShop, on January 28, 2022 and its price will be € 59.99 .
