Well, has Intel confirmed the release date of Windows 11?

Although Windows 10 will be supported by Microsoft for some time to come, it may be worthwhile to prepare for the successor to the operating system, as the recently announced Windows 11 will provide users with a number of useful features.

Although we don’t yet know when Microsoft’s new product will officially arrive, it has previously been rumored that the switch will take place as early as this fall, and may continue to do so.

Intel has in the meantime published a document on its driver that reads the following among operating systems:

“Microsoft Windows 11-64 – October 2021 Update (21H2) “

With this, the manufacturer seems to have confirmed the previous rumor that we could already dive into Windows 11 in October this year. According to official communications, the new operating system may be released sometime in the second half of 2021, but if Microsoft really chose the second month of the fall, we don’t have to wait that long to replace Windows 10.

Of course, keep in mind that Windows 11 will, in principle, be gradually available on different devices, so in October we may only be able to use it on newer machines, and Windows 10 will only be able to upgrade later.
