Wanted for woman from Texas wanted in connection with in fatal shooting of professional cyclist who Authorities say there was once a romantic relationship with the suspect’s boyfriend.
Austin Police Issued Murder Warrant on Tuesday for Caitlin Marie Armstrong, 35 in in killing of 25-year- old Anna Moriah Wilson, according to the US Marshals Service.
Wilson was in Austin last week for a race when she was found bleeding and loss of consciousness with multiple gunshot wounds home night of May 11, police said. The first responders took life-saving measures, but it was stated dead. The autopsy determined the way of death be a killer. Austin police said at the time they had a man of interest in incident and that “shooting is not random act.”
The US Marshals stated that they currently Looking for Armstrong of Austin, who they said it was a suspect in in fatal shooting.

Strickland told police that he and Armstrong live together and met for about three years, the statement said. During a short break in their relationship in October 2021, he was in a “romantic relationship”. with Wilson before rekindling a relationship with Armstrong, according to an affidavit.
Strickland has since told police that he had to change Wilson’s name. in from his phone and deleted text messages “so Armstrong couldn’t find them,” the sworn letter said. Text messages from the night Wilson was killed revealed that Strickland had lied to Armstrong about his whereabouts “to hide that he with Wilson throughout the evening,” the sworn letter says.
Friend of Wilson who wanted to remain anonymous told police that Wilson and Strickland were “on-again, off-againrelationship, according to an affidavit. Another anonymous caller said that Armstrong discovered in January, when Strickland and Wilson were romantically involved, at which point Armstrong “became furious and trembling in anger, the sworn letter says. — Armstrong said that the caller Armstrong was so angry that Armstrong wanted to kill Wilson,” the statement said.
When the police questioned Armstrong on On May 12, she was “confronted with video evidence of her vehicle”but” she had no explanation why it was in in area and made no rebuttals in connection with the allegations,” the affidavit states.
