KARACHI: Sindh government directed everything public branch universities and institutes throughout the province, including Karachi, to create flood relief camps on their campuses.
In this regard, Sindh Minister of Universities Ismail Rahu sent a letter to the vice-chancellors. of 27 universities where officials asked set up “aid camps made up of students to manage donations and funds for help of affects of heavy rain and flash flood through Sindh on priority basis.
In a statement minister urged the leadership of the university ensure who collected donations, which may include clothing, food, and other items were distributed among the victims population.
