A man and a woman, aged 19, died after car they traveled in crashed into a gas station in Village in Gower. The incident happened at 23:15. on Tuesday, May 31 at Northway Garage. in Bishopston, Swansea and two other passengers were taken to hospital. with serious injuries, police confirmed.

representative for South Wales Police said: “South Wales Police are investigating a traffic accident. collision what happened at 23.15 last overnight at Northway Garage, Bishopston, Swansea. Single vehicle collision participated red Alfa Romeo Mito containing four residents.
“A 19 year-old man from Landore and 19 year- an elderly woman from Blaenimaes was declared dead at the scene. A 17 year- an old girl from Penlan was airlifted to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and 17 year- the old man from Burchgrove was in the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
“Families are supported by specially trained staff. The road was blocked. for number of hours during the investigation work carried out.

Statement from the Fire and Rescue Service of Mid and West Wales added: “Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 11:15 pm, crews from Morriston and Reynoldston visited the accident. collision with one vehicle at Northway Garage, Bishopston, Swansea.
“Unfortunately, two people died in the incident. Two more victims were hospitalized. Firefighters made the scene is safe and assisted the ambulance service at the scene. Fire Department left Incident with police at 03:06.
