Microblogging platform Twitter announces launch of “Ad Revenue Sharing Program”

Microblogging platform Twitter has officially announced the launch of the “Ad Revenue Sharing Program”, which allows content creators on the platform to receive a portion of the revenue from ads that appear in response to their tweets.

Twitter said it will launch the program on a larger scale in August so that qualified content producers can apply to participate in the program.

According to press reports, Twitter has already begun paying out some qualified content creators with a subscription to the paid Twitter Blue service.

Elon Musk, the owner of the Twitter platform, announced the program in February last year, but there was little information about it.

Some prominent Twitter account holders have indicated that they have already received notifications of the amounts of money owed to them for ads in the last few months after the announcement of the program, and that these amounts will be transferred to their bank accounts within a few days.

Twitter’s “Ad Revenue Sharing Program” aims to motivate content creators

Twitter’s “Ad Revenue Sharing Program” aims to motivate content creators to drive more ads, as well as help increase the number of accounts that follow Twitter Blue.

Twitter Blue subscribers or accounts of organizations and companies can join the advertising revenue sharing program, provided that their tweets have been viewed at least 5 million times in one of the last three months, and the requests pass human verification to make sure they comply with the platform’s publishing policy.

Twitter’s announcement of the launch of its ad revenue sharing program comes about a week after Instagram launched its rival app, Threads, which has become hugely popular, surpassing 100 million users in its first days of launch.
