ISLAMABAD: An earthquake of magnitude 5.3. hit parts of Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and surrounding cities of Balochistan on Tuesday.
The National Seismic Monitoring Center (NSMC) confirmed the tremors and noted that they were felt in Islamabad, Peshawar, Manshera and Khuzdar.
Epicenter of the earthquake was determined at a depth of 170 kilometers. with Centre in Hindu Kush region.
No casualties have been reported.
