LAHORE: National Horse and Cattle Show to begin in Lahore from 10 to 12 March and in in this regard, Punjab Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman has assigned responsibility to all relevant departments.
There was an important meeting over Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman reviewed agreements for Exhibition of horses and cattle at the Civic Secretariat here on Wednesday. Additional Chief Secretary, Senior Council Member of Revenues, administrative secretaries of various departments including local government finance, animal husbandry, sports industry, agriculture and information commissioner, CCPO Lahore and officers concerned attended the meeting.
On this occasion, CS said that the horse and cattle show was a reflection of national solidarity and unity, adding that event decorated with colors of the regional culture will be organized from 10 to 12 March. He ordered that best measures to be made for show of horses and cattle. He said there should to be motionless problem during Horse and Cattle Shows and PSL matches and an alternative itinerary must be provided prior to the start of any development work.
The local government secretary informed the assembly that the colors of culture of all provinces of Pakistan will be represented in horse and cattle show and industrial show also be organized in addition to various swims and traditional sports.
