ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday lifted the lid on threatening letter and said it “came from the US”.
Prime Minister’s revelation sparked controversy on mainstream and social media if it was intentional or if it was a blunder of language on part of in prime minister Speaking live on a television. He said it out loud and clear that he would not resign no matter what happened, adding that the nation would see on Sunday faces of these legislators who would vote against to him.
In his address to the nation at a time when he lost his majority in National Assembly, Prime Minister Imran Khan began off with his political ideology and reason for his joining political arena.
He said that wanted take the nation in confidence on letter containing certificate of foreign conspiracy to overthrow him government. He first called the US a country, but quickly corrected himself by saying that the letter was from some other country.
He said the message is not against in prime minister but against in people of independent country. The prime minister said that it was quite obvious that they already knew about the comingconfidence the motion before it was filed, adding that it clearly stated that the objection in contact with people abroad.
He said that the content of the letter was addressed to him and stated that if the no-confidence motion was successful against his (Imran Khan) Pakistan will be forgiven. He said it was a conversation that was recorded against en elected prime minister.
He asked the nation about its status and said that Pakistan is a country. of 220 million people and ironically, he was threatened by another country. He called it naked interference. in in affairs of independent country and unacceptable, and said it would be accepted up with the country concerned and vigorously protested.
That prime minister said reason It was for the issuance of threats was that he (Imran Khan) decided to visit Russia on of his own, adding that this was not true, since he had consulted with the Foreign Office, military guidance and even former diplomats before the trip.
He said that our ambassador was told that the relationship could not be good while Imran Khan remained, adding that this actually meant that they would not have issue with in people who would replace it.
He said he’ll come back stronger no matter what happens on in vote of No-confidence. He said they don’t have issue with three “puppets” because they were their “faithful slaves” and knew where they were money and properties were.
He said that his opponents there have been bribery cases involving billions of rupees against them, adding that it people through whom the whole conspiracy was hatched.
The prime minister said that he would not tolerate those who scolded his army commander. He mentioned Nawaz Sharif who, he said, did not utter a word when India branded then-Pakistani army chief General Rahil Sharif as a terrorist. Instead, he said, Nawaz met with Indian Prime Minister Modi. behind stage and inviting him to the marriage ceremonies.
He said he always wanted conduct an independent foreign policy and since entry politics 25 years ago he never compromised on his position. He said that he was neither against the US nor against India, he was against their policies.
He said he opposed decision of joining the so-called US war on terror during military era of General Pervez Musharraf.
He said despite huge losses, being a US ally. in this is war in Afghanistan, the US did not recognize the victims of Pakistan.
Formerly National Security Committee (KNB) in its 37th meeting expressed concern about the “threatening letter” and decided that Pakistan issue strong demarche to the country in question of both in Islamabad and its capital in line with diplomatic rules.
The forum noted that communication is tantamount to overt interference in interior affairs of Pakistan by country in question, and this was unacceptable under any circumstances.
The meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan. of The National Security Committee (KNB) at the Prime Minister’s House. The meeting was attended by federal ministers of protection, energy, information and broadcasting, home affairs, finance, human rights, planning, development as well as special initiatives, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of Staff Committee, Chiefs of Services, National Security Advisor and senior officers.
The national security adviser briefed the committee on official communication of but senior official of foreign country to the ambassador of Pakistan in specified country in official meeting, which was duly conveyed by the ambassador to the ministry of Foreign affairs.

Meanwhile, in late night developmentThe US Department of Foreign Affairs summoned the Acting Deputy Head of the United States of mission of Richard Snelseer and presented him with a demarche in protest against the alleged attempted interference in Pakistan politics and overthrow Prime Minister Khan, the sources said.
That development followed after an appeal to the nation prime minister and emergency meeting of The National Security Committee prepare a response to the alleged US intervention.
US embassy staff in Islamabad did not respond to a request. for Comments. representative for ministry of The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that follow-up of meeting of National Security Committee necessary demarches were made through diplomatic channels.
