Today, Myst Mobile, a newly updated game for the iPhone and iPad, was released by developer Cyan to commemorate the 30th anniversary of releasing the well-known puzzle game Myst.
The first Myst game was released for iOS devices in 2009, as noted by our sister site TouchArcade, but this is an updated version available for free download and plays today.

On devices with an A12 chip or later, as well as an M1 or M2 chip, Myst can be played. According to Cyan, the game runs super-fast on M2 CPUs in particular. It boasts graphics that are comparable to console graphics. It has been tuned for M1 devices. Along with gamepads, the game also supports keyboards and trackpads.
Myst Island can be played for free, and those who wish to play more can purchase the Ages beyond Myst Island add-on for $14.99 once. Currently, a launch special reduces the cost to $9.99.
Starting today, Myst Mobile can be downloaded from the App Store.
