BEIJING: Prime Minister Imran Khan has concluded his second day of dating with business leaders of mega top state-owned China e private businesses in Beijing on Saturday.
The executives who met the Prime Minister included Presidents of China Energy Engineering Corporation (CEEC), China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC), Power China, East Sea Group, China Railway Group Limited (CREC), China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC), Beijing Century Industrial Development Co. Ltd (CENTINCO) and the CHINAMEX group.
During the meetings, Chinese businessmen informed the Prime Minister on the progress of their on-projects in course in Pakistan and future investment plans worth billions of U.S. dollars in the fields of energy, refining, petrochemical, infrastructure development, water resources management, information and communication technology (ICT) and housing.
China Energy is a Fortune 500 conglomerate operating in the fields of energy, water management, transport and construction; The main areas of the CSCEC of the focus is on communications and engineering; Power China provides services in the energy and water sectors; East Sea Group is a international energy and chemical trading society; CREC focuses on engineering, real property development, Railway and mining sector; MCC is the world’s largest metallurgical construction contractor; CENTINCO is specialized in industrial, infrastructure refining and petrochemical projects; and the CHINAMEX group led out urban development projects in several countries.
Appreciate interests of Chinese companies for strengthening business ties with Pakistan, the Prime Minister stressed government of Pakistan had offered many incentives to foreign companies especially from China for investment in Special Economic Zones of Pakistan. He assured that Pakistan would continue to do so support and facilitate Chinese companies for their extensive footprints in Pakistan.
The Prime Minister was accompanied in meetings by members of toilet e senior officials.
