Developer Dreams Uncorporated has released the opening sequence of the upcoming RPG Cris Tales.
Cris Tales is inspired by the Japanese RPG, in which the girl Crystallis gains special powers that allow her to see into the past, perform attacks in the present time, and at the same time see how those actions will turn out in the future.
The game is particularly notable for its hand-drawn two-dimensional graphics. Furthermore, the game features turn-based battles that are settled with the above twist. According to the creators, the game should be a love letter to the Japanese RPG.
Cris Tales launches on July 20 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG and Google Stadia.
