The man spent for impersonating a police officer

ISLAMABAD: The man was arrested on charge of deceiving citizens by impersonating senior superintendent of the police are here on Wednesday.

The Shalimar Police (PS) was informed by a taxi driver that he was carrying three passengers when vehicle with official the license plate signaled him to stop next to E-11 signal.

After pulling over, posing as an officer asked him to pay 25,000 rupees after taking national personality card and a corona vaccination certificate.

On refusal, the officer took documents, saying that he will tell location via phone call pick up documents after payment money.

Police team made a raid on area on in location of the applicant and arrested the accused, identified as Fasih-ur-Rehman, a resident of G-11/1.

The police found a fake cards of various government institutions, three wireless sets, and vehicle with fake license plate.
