The latest satellite image revealed the technical status of the Renaissance Dam after Ethiopia announced the start of the second filling.

In this context, the Egyptian expert Abbas Sharaki told Al-Arabiya.net that it is expected, according to technical estimates, that the level will reach 1 billion cubic meters. The water in the dam will reach 573 meters within a week from now, with a total storage of about 3 billion cubic meters.

Draft Resolution

In the Council, pointing out that if there is a consensus among the members on the draft resolution, it will be put to the vote, stressing that the waters of the Nile River are an existential issue for Egypt.
