The Last Of Us Part II: Remastered Possibly in the works
The Last Of Us is a game that has received both remastered and remade versions. With The Last Of Us: Remastered on PS4 and the PS5 remake of The Last Of Us Part I, fans have been curious about potential remasters or remakes for The Last Of Us Part II. At the very least, fans hope for a remaster to have a native PS5 version.
Recently, a Naughty Dog employee, lead outsource artist Mark Pajarillo, listed “The Last Of Us Part II: Remastered” on his LinkedIn page as a title he worked on. Although Pajarillo has since removed it from his page, screenshots were captured, as shared by JoeMiller101 on Twitter.
It’s worth noting that Pajarillo is not the first to hint at a remaster. Composer Gustavo Santaolalla mentioned a new version of The Last Of Us Part II in an interview, discussing his role as a character players can request songs from.
Considering the release of The Last Of Us Part I on PC, it is likely that The Last Of Us Part II: Remastered will also make the same transition, possibly after its release on PS5, if Naughty Dog follows the same pattern.
