The Together Team, the brains behind the Skyrim Together mod, only hours ago unveiled a test build of a multiplayer Hogwarts Legacy mod that’s already looking amazing. The online multiplayer option is now available to PC players of Hogwarts Legacy, only a week after the game’s launch.

It’s a shaky build, and the HogWarp multiplayer mod demo video from early on showed little of it. The Skyrim Together project has been a focus of The Together Team for a while. There is currently a system for Skyrim that can accommodate more than 25 gamers online at once.
Although it’s early, it’s impressive.
There isn’t much more to see than two players jogging around Hogwarts side by side in the gameplay screenshot that was posted on YouTube:
This is not the first Hogwarts Legacy mod ever made. While there is still more work before it is even remotely intuitive, it is already showing signs of being the most stunning. You’ll see, for example, that, although in the same instance, the players in the attached footage are separated by time — one is playing during the day, while the other is touring Hogwarts at night.
A Patreon project funds the HogWarp project. Those most anxious to play a Hogwarts Legacy multiplayer mod can gain access to private HogWarp servers for a monthly subscription fee of £46. Lower-tier subscribers are promised “early access to HogWarp.” Still, no information currently indicates when it will be made accessible.
It’s important to emphasize that this HogWarp mod build is very preliminary. Years may pass before it becomes integrated and provides a genuine cooperative experience. It might never happen. It’s a highly likely scenario.

But after the initial week? That’s amazing.
Hogwarts Legacy keeps breaking Steam player records and Twitch viewing records. It isn’t slowing down any time soon. It was discovered that this was the biggest Harry Potter launch in gaming history.
