The Coalition: Destroying an “Iranian” Houthi naval mine in the Red Sea

The Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen announced, on Monday, the discovery and destruction of a marine mine in the south of the Red Sea planted by the Houthi militia.

It said that the discovered sea mine was of the Iranian-made “seashell.”

He also stressed that planting sea mines with Iranian support is a serious threat to international shipping and global trade.

The coalition confirmed the removal and destruction of a total of 205 naval mines randomly deployed by the Houthi militia.

Hostile attack

Earlier today, the Joint Forces Command of the coalition in Yemen confirmed thwarting an imminent hostile attack by a booby-trapped Houthi terrorist militia in the south of the Red Sea.

She also added that the Houthis continue to threaten shipping lines and global trade.

It is noteworthy that the Houthi militias have always threatened navigation in the region, either through mines or by sending Bombshells.
