ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Court on Monday adjourned hearings on pledge plea of Azam Swati on prosecutor’s request for more time to prepare the arguments.
During the hearing, lawyer for PTI leader Babar Awan said the FIR says the senator’s tweet is considered against the integrity of Pakistan. “The tweet was posted at 19:00 and the FIR was filed at 01:00 when and where the investigation took place. took place?” – he asked.
“Any statement by a politician cannot affect the Pakistani armed forces,” Awan said.
He also said the boss justice and judiciary in case said one tweet can’t harm institutions of Pakistan.
However, the judge told Swati counsel concentrate on bail clauses and on collateral.
The prosecutor later took time to present his arguments.
“You are not a child who you need to give time to prepare, ”the judge told the prosecutor and asked him to be ready in next hearing.
