The “Daraa Al-Balad” agreement in southern Syria for a ceasefire and the handover of arms came into force this morning, Wednesday. Within the framework of a road map to end the crisis in Daraa, where it was agreed with the Security Committee and the Russian delegation to implement the terms of the agreement starting today, Wednesday. And displacing those who do not wish to make a settlement, in addition to allowing the Russian military police to enter Daraa al-Balad.
It was also agreed to set three joint security points, between Military Security and the Eighth Brigade of the Fifth Corps, inside the neighborhoods of Daraa al-Balad.
In conjunction with reaching the agreement, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that the besieged neighborhoods of Daraa al-Balad were bombed with more than 50 surface-to-surface missiles. It revolves between the regime forces and gunmen on the fighting axes in the area, where the forces of the Fourth Division are trying to storm Daraa al-Balad, backed by the militias loyal to them.
