family of young woman who was torn to pieces death on group of The dogs she has walked say they are going through “extremely difficult times.”
28-year- an old woman from London, who not yet officially identified, died after being set on animals in Caterham, Surrey, on Thursday, January 12.
Surrey The police detained total of eight dogs are monitoring the incident and the detectives are keeping their owners up on a date with investigation. Animals are still kept.
On Tuesday, the police released update in which they said they work with both a forensic pathologist and a veterinary pathologist in the of their investigation.
“These requests will take some time to complete” force said.
Surrey Police also issued a statement from relatives of victim, who said they were the subject of “significant level of media interest” after the incident.
In a statement family said, “This is an extremely difficult time for us.
“We continue to contact for our privacy must be respected during our time of grief.”
Detective Inspector Josephine Horner, senior investigator, said: “Investigation into the circumstances connected with this young sad woman death continue and we will provide further updates when possible.
“We know this incident has caused real anxiety in local community and local officers were out in in area communicate with the locals over in past a few days.
“We keep asking people don’t speculate on circumstances while the investigation is ongoing way.”
Surrey County Police said the woman is believed to have been walking down the street. of dogs at the time of Incident.
