Strong winds in north Wales was a tornado, experts confirm | Wales

Strong winds that caused “at least £100,000” of farm damage in north Wales has been confirmed by experts as a tornado.

Extreme weather hit Gogarth Hall farm in criminal on Wednesday, uprooting trees and raising sheep and lambs in air.

The Tornado and Storm Research Organization said it investigated the site and believes the damage was caused tornado T3.

Breeze added: “The trees were uprooted. If they had not been raised, they just was stained. We’ve lost hundreds of trees”.

The wind was so strong that a sheep and her lambs were raised in air.

Breeze said, “This took sheep out across the bay of barn and he chose up little lambs.” She said the lambs were fine, but the sheep had “gone”.

She said: “When I got to the farm, I saw damage to the roof, about £100,000. worth of damage on roof.”

BUT group of 12 local volunteers helped her clear devastation. However, Breeze fears that the farm will never be the same again.

She said “It’ll take months, it’ll never be back no in my life. It will never come back to what was.”
