Sony is seeking beta testers for upcoming system software updates for PlayStation 5. It announced via PlayStation Blog.
The PlayStation website allows owners of the console to in the US, France, Germany, Japan and Canada are registering to test new software versions early. Sony is expected to expand the number of countries later. The company also indicates that a major update ‘full of new features’ will be released later this year for the console. In the coming weeks, Sony will reveal what beta testers can get started with, and thus possibly what the next major update will entail.The last major update for PlayStation 5 appeared in April. This made it possible, among other things, to park PlayStation games on a hard disk and to pre-load game updates.
